Children of the Atom #2 (Release Date: April 2021) | Marvel Comics
A new generation of mutant-inspired heroes is making waves in the Marvel Universe, but who are these mysterious teenagers, and what secrets are they hiding?
Children of the Atom #2 continues the exciting X-Men spin-off series from Marvel Comics, introducing a new team of young superheroes inspired by some of the most iconic mutants in X-Men history.
Written by Vita Ayala with artwork by Bernard Chang, this series follows a group of teenagers who model themselves after legendary X-Men heroes, including Cyclops, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Gambit, and Angel.
The team includes Cyclops-Lass, Marvel Guy, Daycrawler, Cherub, and Gimmick, each bringing their own personality, abilities, and secrets to the growing mutant world.
As the mysterious young heroes attempt to find their place in a world transformed by the rise of Krakoa, questions surrounding their identities and powers become increasingly important. With the X-Men taking notice, the teenagers must navigate the challenges of being superheroes while keeping the truth about themselves hidden.
Set during Marvel's Reign of X era, Children of the Atom #2 explores identity, belonging, friendship, and the complicated relationship between humanity and mutantkind.
